When multiple agents are viewing and replying to the same conversation, Chatling shows who else is there so you can avoid sending duplicate replies. Pills showing teammates who are viewing, typing a reply, or typing a note

Above the composer

A pill appears above the reply buttons and composer.
  • Viewing: the teammate has the conversation open.
  • Typing: they are writing a reply.
  • Typing a note: they are writing a private note. This pill is yellow.
Teammates doing the same thing are grouped into one pill. Two names are written out. With three or more, the pill shows the first two names and counts the rest, such as “Sara, Jack, and 1 other are viewing”. If teammates are doing different things, each activity gets its own pill. For example, one pill can show who is viewing while another shows who is typing. Typing changes back to viewing shortly after they stop, clear the draft, or leave the composer. When they send, their message appears in the conversation immediately and the typing status clears.

Chat Information

The information appears in the sidebar as well, under the Chat Information section on the right. It lists each teammate on their own row, with their profile photo and whether they are viewing, typing a reply, or typing a note.
