# Visibility

> A guide on configuring your widget's visibility.

Control who can see your Web Widget by setting its visibility to **Public** or **Private**. A public widget is visible to all visitors on any website where it's embedded. A private widget is hidden from all embedded websites and its Sharing feature is disabled.

## How to set the visibility

1. From your dashboard, go to the [widget designer](/web-widget/customize).
2. Go to `Visibility`.
3. Set the status to `Public` or `Private`.
4. Click `Save` to apply the changes.
