# Geo-blocking

> Learn how to block visitors from specific countries from accessing your chatbot.

If you're receiving a lot of spam from visitors of certain countries or don't want to make your chatbot available in certain countries, you can block those countries using the Geo-blocking feature.

By blocking countries, the widget will be disabled for visitors from those countries.

## How to block countries

1. Open your chatbot's dashboard.
2. Go to Settings.

3. Click the `Security` tab.
4. Under the `Geo-blocking` section, type and choose the country you want to block.
5. Click `Save`.
